Campus Involment
Two of Alpha Chi Omega's core values are Leadership Ability and Personal Development, and I hold these values close to my heart. From the moment I talked to the amazing women of Alpha Chi Omega I knew that great leaders flourish in this sisterhood and I knew right away this chapter would help shape me into the best version of myself. From running for exec as a freshman to planning bid day, and to be elected as Vice President of PR & Marketing, the sisterhood has pushed me to grow as not only a woman but a leader these last 3 years.
Here at Alpha Chi Omega leadership and involvement doesn't just center around our chapter, we encourage all our sisters to find ways to get involved on campus that not only allow for them to grow as individuals and as Stetson students but more importantly it gives them the opportunity to give back to Stetson and our community. From being focus leaders during new student orientation, stetson ambassadors and even starting clubs, and initiatives and leading within these organizations on campus. Alpha Chi Omega prides itself in its standards two of which include leadership ability and personal development. In almost every organization at Stetson, there is an Alpha Chi Omega behind the scenes. In this year alone we’ve had over 72% percent of our chapter involved in other student groups/athletic teams with 22% of those girls holding leadership/executive positions.
With the support of this chapter and the amazing women I get to call my sisters I've been able to accomplish so many amazing things in my 3 years at Stetson. From being both Phi Alpha Delta Pre Law Fraternity and Mock Trial Team two term President, and winning 3 outstanding attorney awards at the regional level. To being on SGA Exec and serving as a FOCUS Orientation Leader and Assistant Coordinator for 3 years. If it wasn't for the love and support of this chapter I couldn't have grown into the real strong woman I am today.
